May 6, 2015 0

AMLI Residential is planning an apartment community for Denver’s Riverfront Park neighborhood at 1750 Little Raven Street. Construction for this development is set to begin this September with delivery slated for June of 2017. The project is titled Riverfront Green.

The project will feature 304 units with 1 and 2 bedroom options available. All of the units will be over 900 square feet. This development will join several other residential and commercial projects currently under construction in the Riverfront Park and Union Station neighborhoods of the Mile High City.

“Denver really has a lot of exciting things going for it right now, many of which translate directly into it being a great market for apartment development and investment,” states AMLI Senior Vice President of Development Andrew Mutz. “The quality of life and recent thoughtful infrastructure investments have led to great job growth and strong net in-migration, particularly in the millennial generation.  The downtown area has experienced a sea change in terms of being a desirable living area. All of these factors combined with years of little development have created a very robust demand for apartments.”

AMLI Residential is the developer, the general contractor and will manage this apartment community after its completion. The architect of record for this project is Denver-based Studio PBA.

Riverfront green will feature a rooftop deck, a bike repair station, and an in-house golf simulator is also planned. This development will take shape three blocks from Denver’s new transit hub at Union Station where passengers will be able to take RTD’s commuter rail line to Denver International Airport beginning in 2016 once the line is completed.

“Union Station and Riverfront Park in particular have been at the heart of this transformation.  The area has evolved into a vibrant live/work/play environment that is attractive to a wide swath of people, from young professionals to baby boomers looking to live closely to the wide variety of restaurants, entertainment and cultural activities available downtown.  In addition, being located on Commons Park and having direct access to nature but within true walking distance of Union Station and LoDo makes for a fantastic living environment,” said Mutz.

AMLI Residential also developed and manages an adjacent apartment community at 19th Street and Little Raven Street.
