Last night I captured some photos near Mile High looking east towards Downtown Denver. The Denver Broncos were playing the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football. I hit the shutter button at just the right moment on this one to capture the fireworks.
I switched lenses and snagged a few photos of Downtown Denver. There is a nice view of Denver's newest skyscraper, 1144 Fifteenth Street from this vantage point.
The traffic on Denver's busy Colfax Avenue made for some cool lighting
After capturing these photos of Downtown Denver and the fireworks at Sports Authority Field at Mile High while the Denver Broncos game was going on, I was able to make it home in time to watch the second half of the game. I did not miss much as it was one of the Denver Broncos poorest performances at home that I can remember.
Below is a photo I captured of the Denver skyline on 9/15/17. The Denver skyline sure has evolved in the last couple of years.
For comparison, below is a photo of the Denver skyline I captured in June of 2015.
I have had a chance to get out the last couple of weekends and snap some photos of Denver. The last few panes of glass are being installed on 1144 Fifteenth Street in Downtown Denver. It has been wonderful watching 1144 Fifteenth rise downtown. Thank you for stopping by.
I have had a chance to sneak out and take some Denver skyline photos the last couple of weeks and figured I would share some of them here.
To begin here are a couple of photos looking towards the Country Club Towers. This set of photos was captured from 9th Avenue and Lincoln Street.
The below photo looks towards the northeast with a nice view of Denver's Capitol Hill neighborhood.
And of course here is one looking toward Downtown Denver where 1144 Fifteenth Street can been viewed making an impact on the Denver Skyline.
Here is a set of photos captured from Diamond Hill, near the intersection of Speer and I-25. This is a great vantage point to admire 1144 Fifteenth Street and The Confluence projects.
Next are a few photos I captured near the intersection of Federal and 6th Avenue.
To finish up, here are some photos I captured near the intersection of 38th and Blake in Denver's RiNo neighborhood.
With some recent free time I have captured some photos in and around Downtown Denver on two separate urban hikes. I really enjoyed getting out and photographing Downtown Denver area since I did not have much free time to do so during the summer and fall.
To begin, here is a series of photos captured from the Auraria Campus. The crane for 1144 Fifteenth Street is visible. When Looking closely, you can see a concrete boom just above the roofline of 1401 Lawrence that is in place to pour concrete for the elevator shaft of 1144 Fifteenth Street. It won't be long before 1144 Fifteenth Street makes a major impact on the Denver skyline.
Here is one looking towards the north where we can see The Confluence, a 34-story luxury apartment building that is under construction.
Here are a few pictures a little closure to 1144 Fifteenth Street:
The glass installation is moving along at 1144 Fifteenth Street.
Here are some black and white photos of Downtown Denver I captured while walking around:
And a few Downtown Denver photographs in color:
Denver Union Station all set for the holidays with Christmas lights.
Bridge over Cherry Creek.
Here are a few photographs I snagged around the Denver Art Museum.
The ART Hotel has been open for over a year now and I see it as a nice addition to this part of Broadway.
An eclectic mix of architectural styles in a relatively small area of Denver.
Here is one of the Clyfford Still Museum:
I hope you all enjoyed taking a look at some of my recent photos of Denver.
