June 16, 2015 0

Today Wiens Real Estate Ventures, LLC has announced that construction is now underway on Arista Place II, a five-story 82,000 square foot mixed-use property in Broomfield that will include office space and ground floor retail.

Arista Place II is being constructed at Arista, the 200-acre development located adjacent to US 36. The 1stBank Center is also located in this development that includes office, retail and residential components. Arista Place II is second of three office buildings to be constructed at Arista.

GKK is the architect of Arista Place II and Pinkard Construction is the general contractor. Arista II is slated to be completed in June of 2016. Weins Real Estate Ventures is handling the retail leasing of this project and Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is managing the leasing of the office space.

“Construction activity at Arista was slowed during the recession, but since 2012, more than 1,250 residences have been built, a 90,000-square-foot hospital is under construction, and a 68,000-square-foot medical office building is in planning.  Now we’re underway with Arista Place II,” said Joe Zepeda, Sr. Project Manager for the Company.

Arista Place II will include space for a ground floor restaurant and other retail outlets. An RTD transit stop is located at Arista. The sister office component Arista Place I, is now 95 percent leased. Once Arista II is leased, construction is slated to begin on the third office component, Arista Place III.

“Arista overcame the hurdle of the recession and now the development is quickly evolving into everything we thought it could be,” added Tim Wiens, principal of Weins Real Estate Ventures, LLC.
