19th and Wewatta under review

December 9, 2015 1

A 14-story project is currently under review by the City of Denver. This development is planned to take shape at 19th and Wewatta in Denver’s Union Station neighborhood.

This development is currently titled Ascent Union Station.

City documents state Ascent Union Station is planned to house 142 residential apartment units and approximately 4,000 square-feet of ground floor retail. 280 parking spaces will be incorporated into this structure with two below grade floors and two above grade floors housing the parking.

Texas-Based Greystar is the developer and Denver-based The Mulhern Group is the architecture firm that designed this building.

Drawings of Ascent Union Station submitted to the City of Denver show a landscaped rooftop lounge area will exist on the top of the building. The exterior is a combination of glass and masonry.

The Mulhern Group was reached for comment, but did not have anything to add other than what is available in public documents.
