Texas-based The Lynd Company, a multi-family residential developer, is planning to bring an 277-unit apartment project to Denver’s RiNo neighborhood. This project will take shape adjacent to the creative workspace Industry at 30th and Brighton Boulevard.
Construction on this 9-story project is slated to begin in the 4th quarter of this year. Six floors of apartments will sit above 3 levels of parking. An amenity deck and a pool will also sit on top of the parking structure where residents will have views of downtown Denver.
Also included will be four townhome style units that will have street level access, a business center and a fitness room are featured. The project is expected to take 21 months to build.
“It will feel really nice with the planned redevelopment of Brighton Boulevard. The area has good bones with the old industrial buildings and it serves as a gateway to downtown Denver,” said Lynd Company senior vice president Jim Bruner.
The Lynd Company is also the developer of the Joule apartment project that is nearing completion in Denver’s Golden Triangle at Speer Boulevard and Cherokee Street. Both of these projects are aimed at different demographics.
“We see the Joule as targeting a more established demographic– the empty nesters that are moving back into the city, while our RiNo project is more for young professionals,” explained Bruner. “We think the trend will continue with more young people renting instead of buying.”
Bruner also stated that Lynd has plans to develop additional projects in Denver.
“We believe in Denver long term. We love Denver’s mix and it is just as hip as Austin and Nashville,” said Bruner.
