The crane has been jumped at the construction site of 1401 Lawrence in downtown Denver. 1401 Lawrence is expected to top out in February of 2016 at 22-floors. Ground was broken on office tower in October of 2014. Work is now taking place on the 15th floor.
The Beck Group designed 1401 Lawrence and is also serving as the general contractor.
The project is being developed by Canadian developer First Gulf, the commercial division of Great Gulf Corporation, a Canadian-based organization. National law firm Polsinelli has signed a 15-year lease to become the signature tenant of the building.
Ground floor retail has also been incorporated into the structure. Space will exist for a 9,000 square foot restaurant and a coffee shop.
