Scannell Properties and KeHE Distributors, a food distribution company have announced the development of a 270,000 square-foot distribution facility in Aurora at 2200 North Himalaya Road. Scannell Properties will be developing this project. Another distribution center will also be constructed in in Douglasville, GA. The Aurora building will include approximately 60,000 square-feet of freezer/cooler space and land for future facility expansion.
Frederick Regnery, Principal with Colliers (Logistics and Transportation Solutions) represented KeHE Distributors with both transactions. Regnery said “to accommodate the growth of both existing and new customers KeHE undertook a multi-state selection process to identify sites for new distribution facilities in the Colorado region.”
