Construction fences and equipment are now on site for two different Denver projects. The first one that we will take a look at is an affordable housing project that will take shape in Denver’s Union Station neighborhood at 18th and Chestnut place.
Atlanta-based Integral Group, LLC. is the developer. Integral has yet to make a formal statement confirming that construction is underway, but what we do know is a construction fence has been installed around the perimeter of the property and an excavator and a front end loader are on site. This project is slated to include 108 units in a 4-story building.
Construction site at 1975 18th Street.
Next, the mixed-use development at Colorado Center is now underway. This project will take shape adjacent to the Dave & Busters next to Colorado Boulevard and I-25.
This project will include a 210,000 square foot class AA office building and a 205,000 square foot residential tower that will house 189 apartments and 80 loft-style units plus a fitness center. Also included in this development will be the addition of 40,000 square feet of new retail space. The office and residential components will be housed in two separate buildings. To see the renderings of this project take a look here.
This week the parking lot was being torn up at the property.

Below is a little video clip I created near Union Station. There sure are a lot of cranes in the Denver skyline these days.
